Frank Powell Patrick, a native and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Friday, August 11, 2017 at the age of 87. Frank graduated from McGill Institute in 1948; served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict as a radioman and technician in the seaplane squadron; graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and retired from Alabama Power Company in 1992. Frank was a man who loved his Lord. He witnessed and sang a song to everyone he met, wanting each person to know the Lord was his heart's desire above all else. Loving and providing for his family was his top priority. His family loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Patrick and Emma Paulina Oswald Patrick; four brothers, Douglas Patrick, Rev. Ernest Patrick, Leslie Patrick and James Patrick; and two sisters, Emelise Patrick Matthews and Mary Patrick McAdams. His survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Angelina Alioto Patrick; three sons, "Chris" (Brandy) Patrick, Tommy (Pam) Patrick and Mark (Kelly) Patrick; one daughter, Lisa Patrick (Bobby) Bogh; fourteen grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Jeremy Patrick, Frank's grandson, will be held Monday, August 14, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
