Frank L. Reese, Jr., a native of Lowndes County, AL passed away on May 22, 2019. Frank received his civil engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and moved to Mobile where he met and was married for 61 years to the love of his life, Catherine Preslar. Frank was a member of the Society of Civil Engineers, long time active member of Spring Hill Baptist Church serving on numerous committees and for many years taught pre-school Sunday School. During his career he received many honors including the Distinguished Career Service Award from the US Department of Transportation, one of the highest civilian awards.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank L. Reese, Sr. and Susie Youngblood Reese. He is survived by his wife Catherine Preslar Reese, his sister Mary Helen Reese Foster (Boyd), granddaughter Caroline Knoll, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Music Ministry of Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2 South McGregor Ave., Mobile, Al 36608.

Visitation will be held at Spring Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:00am followed by a memorial service at 11:00am. Private family graveside service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
