It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred (Freddie) Burl Goodman, II, who left this world on March 13, 2025, at the age of 66. Freddie was born on December 6, 1958, in Mobile, Alabama to Fred and Jean (Schrimpshire) Goodman. He spent his life as a dedicated motorcycle mechanic, sharing his passion and expertise with countless friends and customers throughout the community.
Freddie is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Deborah (Wassermann) Goodman, who was the love of his life. He also leaves behind his sons, Adam Shepherd of Mobile, Alabama, and Michael Rea of Moss Point, Mississippi; daughter, Deborah Michelle Stimac (Tony Stimac) of Moss Point, Mississippi; and cherished grandchildren, Lindbergh Stimac and Fox Stimac. Freddie will be remembered fondly by his cousins, Greg Goodman, Anita Hawfield, Beverly McCormack Pearson, Gregory Marc Schrimpshire, and Terry Pitts, as well as his close-knit Harley Davidson brothers: Sam Zito, Dave Groce, Jimmy (Stephanie) Jones, Benji Tillery, Barry Brown and Robert Walston, and close friend, Mark Benefield and many other friends and family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jeffrey Goodman, and his sister Jeannie Vick, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Freddie had a profound love for Brazilian Mastiffs, (Fila Brasileiro) and he dedicated many years to caring for rescued dogs and supporting FILA 911, a dog rescue organization in Jasper, Alabama.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the public visitation at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Freddie's life will be celebrated in a graveside service at Mobile Memorial Gardens, where he will be laid to rest at 2:00 PM.
As we remember Freddie, we celebrate a life filled with love, friendship, and a passion for the open road, forever cherished by those he leaves behind.
