Garrett Smith

Garrett Eugene Smith, 28, of Mobile, AL, was taken from us unexpectedly on August 14, 2017. He was born March 28, 1989 in Mobile, AL, the son of Gary R. and Melanie (Marrs) Smith. He graduated from St. Paul's Episcopal School in 2007, and went on to receive a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Alabama. He will always be remembered for his infectious smile, big hugs, and kind loving heart. Garrett loved spending time with his friends and family, fishing, cooking out, and was an avid sports fan. He especially loved Alabama football. Garrett is survived by his parents Gary and Melanie of Mobile, Alabama, his sister Kristy (Rick) Campbell of Mobile, brother Michael (Emilie) Smith of Mobile. One niece Alexis and one nephew Michael (MJ), both of Mobile. He also leaves behind many close friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of Garrett's life will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6040 Three Notch Rd Mobile, AL 36619. The family will receive visitors from 12:30-2:00, chapel service at 2 pm, followed by a committal service at the grave site in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
