Garry Dewrell

Garry Edward Dewrell, age 78, passed away in the comfort of his home on February 10, 2025.

Mr. Dewrell retired as Captain from the Mobile Fire Department after 26 years of service and worked building homes in the Mobile area for over 45 years. Mr. Dewrell knew the Lord and was a devoted member of First Baptist Church Tillmans Corner. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time at home on his farm with his cattle and his family.

Mr. Dewrell was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Dewrell; brothers, Paul and W.C. Dewrell; sister, Maxine Wicker.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bobbie Dewrell; children, Jerri Fike, Summer (Doug) Davis, Kiff (Jade) Kirkwood; grandchildren, Kenny, Brian, Lane, Lindsay and Finn; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Copeland; other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
