Geary Murphy, Sr.

Mr. Geary Edward Murphy, age 64, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 2, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Carol Ann Murphy; sister, Leslie Ann Crawford; and brother, Shawn Thomas Murphy.
Mr. Murphy will be remembered by his family and friends as a faithful, loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time fishing, woodworking and watching westerns.
Mr. Murphy is survived by his wife, Toni Fillingim Murphy; two sons, Geary Edward Murphy Jr. (Claudia) and Shane Adam Murphy (Daniel); two grandsons, Landrum Chase Murphy and Chase Montgomery Neilson; brother, John Crawford (Mary); sisters, Sandra Waller (Roy) and Sharon McDonald; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 on Wednesday prior to the service.
