Genevieve Johnson, lived in Mobile for most of her life and resided in St. Elmo, AL for the last 13 years. Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. Catherine's Parish for over 67 years. She lived in Siena Vista for over 50 years and was a member of the Garden Club for as many years, and was President for a number of those years. She along with her deceased husband ran Johnson Accounting Service. Mrs. Johnson loved the Atlanta Braves and Alabama football. She always wanted to be a Major League Manager for the Braves. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin A. Johnson, Sr.; children, Marla J. Petro and Kevin E. Johnson; brothers, Edward E. Dodge, Babe Stanley Dodge, Thomas E. Dodge and Robert H. Dodge; sister, Ruth D. Spann. She will be sadly missed by her children, Karen J. Bailey (Chris), A.A. "Johnny" Johnson, Jr.(Alicia) and Wendy J. Mundy (John); four sisters, Nan D. Butler, Sammee D. Bryant, Winnie D. Hurt and Sharon D. Rogers (Elliott); two brothers, Richard H. Dodge (Fran) and Ronald K. Dodge (Margaret); seventeen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11 am. Visitation will start at 10 am at the church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the church at 2605 Springhill Ave., Mobile, AL 36607. Entombment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
