George Kroner, a native and longtime resident of Mobile, died on Friday. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Kroner who died July 22, 2015. He is survived by two daughters, Frieda Boltz and Mary (Ronnie) Turner; one brother, Bob Kroner; three grandchildren, Alicia (Gerry) Lanier, Jeremy Turner and Jason Boltz; three great-grandchildren Gracie Turner, William Turner and Parker Lanier and nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, July 30, 2015. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM. Mary Jo Kroner, a native of Taylorsville, MS and a lifelong resident of Mobile, died Wednesday. She is survived by her husband, George W. Kroner who died July 24, 2015; two daughters, Frieda Boltz and Mary (Ronnie) Turner; a sister, Jane Pridgen; three grandchildren, Alicia (Gerry) Lanier, Jeremy Turner and Jason Boltz and three great grandchildren, Gracie Turner, William Turner and Parker Lanier and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 10 AM. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM.
