Gerald Anthony Driskell, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the age of 68. Mr. Driskell was a US Navy veteran and formerly employed by L&N Railroad. He was born to Windell Franklin Driskell, Sr. and Laura Eloise Bethea Driskell on September 7, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his brother, Windell Franklin Driskell, Jr. and his wife, Norma; his sister, Brenda Driskell; and other relatives. He is also survived by special friends, Leah Ann Carlisle Walker, her husband Brad, and their children, Isabella Grace Walker, Gabriella Faith Walker and Sophia Patience Walker. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
