Gerald "Jerry" Johnson

Gerald O. Johnson, age 75, a lifetime resident of Mobile, AL., was born on September 16th, 1949, and passed on January 16th, 2025. He was a graduate of John Shaw high school. Then Jerry went on to earn an associate degree in Radiology at Providence hospital school of Radiology. Later in his career, Jerry was director of Radiology at Knollwood Park Hospital. He retired in 2012 after a successful career in Radiology. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and building race cars in his spare time.

He is preceded in death by; his father, John O. Johnson; his mother, Rose Vivian Johnson; his sisters, Katie Marie Johnson and Della Faye Brown; his father-in-law, G.R. Jones; his mother-in-law, Katie Hyland Jones; and his brother-in-law, William Adams.

Jerry is survived by; his wife of 49 years, Julie Jones Johnson; his son, Kyle O. Johnson; his daughter, Amanda Leigh Johnson; his grandsons, Devon O. Johnson, Garrett Johnson, and Cameron Wilson; his granddaughters, McKenzie Wilson, Lexus Wilson, Courtney Wilson, and Ava Wilson; his sisters, Vivian Dahlgren, Rita Hurd, and Nancy Rochelle Harville; and his sister-in-law, Marsha Adams Skipper.

A memorial service for Gerald O. Johnson will be held on February 7th, 2025, at 12 P.M., at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
