On the evening of September 18, 2016, Geremy was called home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. Geremy was born in Mobile, AL on January 28, 1991. Geremy was a graduate of Theodore High School and also attended Bishop State Community College. Geremy was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and dear friend. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Jeanette Barnickel, Sr. and Joseph and Carol Chastain. Geremy is survived by his parents, John (Teresa) Barnickel and Steven Lloyd Bowden; paternal grandmother, Rita Carlquist; brothers, John (Nikki) Barnickel III and Joshua (Kali) Barnickel; sisters, Jamie (Jason) Horstman, Jaryn Barnickel, and Ashley Wheeler Daniels; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Geremy was loved by many and we will miss him every day, but he will live on in our hearts forever. His family and friends will be celebrating his life on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 12:00 Noon until 2pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM from the funeral home chapel.
