Her journey was one of selfless devotion to her family and others as she dedicated her life to spreading the Word of God as a Christian missionary in Africa alongside her husband Rev. Ralph Welch.

Glenda Welch was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Rev. Ralph Welch; her parents, Robert Ludke and Katherine Ludke; her sister MaryLou Howell, and brothers Joe Ludke and Bobby Ludke.
She is survived by her son Rev. Brent Welch (Gigi), her daughter Stacy Lumpkin, (Mike); grandchildren, Haley and Bradley Lumpkin, Andrew Welch (Whitney), Isaac Welch (Lizzie) and Shayna Welch; great grandchildren, Ansleigh, Ashton, Blakely Lumpkin, Adalyn, Lilah and Maeson Welch and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate Glenda's life will be held on November 16, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Solid Rock Church of God in Tanner Williams, AL with visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
