Glenn Lavell Young

Glenn Lavell Young, age 91, passed away on August 21, 2024, in Mobile, AL. 

Mr. Young was born in Marshall, TX on June 3, 1933, to parents Walter and Irma Young. He married Sharon Mae Bullard on August 1, 1954 who precdeceased him in March 1999. He served honorably in the United States Navy and fought in the Korean War. He continued his service to his country in civil service as a Scientific Technical Illustrator for the remainder of his career. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia C. (Jen) Young; children, Doug Young (Teresa), Laura Young, Paula Hesoun (Mark), Norm Young (Jerita), Roy Williams (Reba) and Debbie Baggett (Doug); 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Young; other relatives and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM service time at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Panama City, FL.
