Gloria "Jeanne" Parker Fountain, a native of Birmingham, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the age of 57. She was a member of a Mardi Gras society and loved crafts, cooking and the beach. She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Douglas Parker and her brother, Calvin Mark Parker. Her survivors include her husband of 36 years, Gabe Sylvester Fountain, Jr.; two sons, Jeremy (Melanie) Fountain and Mark Fountain; her mother, Gloria Nell Reed Parker; one sister, Patrice (Tim) Dyer; two brothers, Tony Parker and Tad (Allison) Parker; a granddaughter, Avriana Paulus; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Todd McGehee, will be held Monday, October 26, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
