Gloria Williams

Gloria Williams, 82, of Mobile AL, departed this life Sunday June 26, 2022.
Gloria was born on December 23, 1939, in Mobile, AL. She supported her husband for 60 years with his hard work and dedication to the Shriners, was a member of the Polka dots for 41 years, served as emblem, and she was also a past queen as well as a lifetime member of the Daughters of the Nile.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley W. McClure Sr., mother, Dorthy C. McClure, Daughter, Margaret Cooney. Gloria is survived by her husband of 66 years, Henry Williams, daughter, Deborah (Bobby) McCarty, sons, Henry Bubba (Lois) Williams Jr., William Alex (Laurie) Williams, Grandchildren, Michael (Jessica) Cooney, Shane (Heidi) Cooney, Brandon (Brittany) Williams, Justin (Leigh) McCarty, Evan McCarty, Haley Williams, Jonathan McCarty, 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and family members.
Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Mobile, Alabama on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm with grave side services at Serenity Gardens, Old Pascagoula Rd, Theodore, AL. Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 12:00pm. After service the family would like to invite friends/family to the Abba Shrine Center, 7701 Hitt Rd. For food and refreshments.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to Abba Shrine Children's Transportation Fund.
