Grace Lee Purvis, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her parents, Inez Marie Gibson Harrell, Leroy Andrews and Lester Perry. Her survivors include her husband, Donald G. Purvis; one son, Ronald D. (Carolyn) Shirah; two daughters, Sandi Purvis (James) Moore and Jennifer Purvis (George) Evans; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Gary W. Shockley, will be held Friday, September 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
