Gregory Hill

Gregory Gene Hill 52 passed away November 6, 2020. He was born April 6, 1968 and was a lifelong resident of Irvington, Alabama. He is survived by his wife Susan J. Hill, Son Gregory Gene Hill Jr., Daughter Makayla Skye Hill, Stepchildren Aaron, Andrew and Adam Brannon, Grandchildren, His Mother Carolyn Hill, Brothers Tye Hill (Lisa), Craig Hill (Sherry), Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many friends. Greg is preceded in death by his father Johnny D. Hill

Greg graduated in 1987 from Alba High School where he was a member of the football team. Many remember Greg by his nickname “Bobwire”.

Greg worked at Bellingrath Gardens and Home for 28 years. He worked in the Maintenance Department where he was responsible for welding and overall quality and fabricating of its world class Christmas Show, Magic Christmas in Lights. Greg possessed an uncanny amount of talents. There was almost nothing he couldn’t fix or make. He was a devout Christian and a family man and incredible father. In his free time, he loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family!

He is loved and will be truly missed by many!
