Gwenda Woodall

Gwenda Drew Woodall, 88, of Silverhill, Alabama, passed away on December 9, 2024.

Gwenda was born on July 28, 1936 to Gordon and Elva Drew. She graduated from Murphy High School and started a career that included many different jobs. She worked for Vanity Fair Mills, Mobile Infirmary School of Nursing, and Myers Realty in Gulf Shores as a booking agent. She was a very active woman as a member of the Worthy Matrons of Eastern Star and Holiday Ramblers 34324 Travel Club. Her love of traveling took her to all lower 48 states. She loved bowling and camping as well as taking her annual vacation to Disney World, which she did for 30 years.

Gwenda is preceded in death by her husband, Senior Master Sergeant, USAF James L Woodall; daugher, Belinda C Woodall; brothers, Lewis G. Drew and Harold Drew; sister, Jo D. Freland; parents, Gordon Drew and Elva G. Drew.

Gwenda is survived by her son, Darrell E. Woodall; grandchildren, Christopher D. Woodall and Rhiannon W. McClellan; and great grandson, Orion Alexander McClellan.

Her family will celebrate her life with a funeral service on Monday December 16th at 10:00 am from the graveside at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at Mobile Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home one hour prior.
