Harry James Moore, 67, a native of Hayes, LA and resident of Mobile, AL, went to heaven June 5, 2015 after a prolonged illness. He was a retiree of Mobil Oil, an avid gardener and loved to share his gardening secrets and accomplishments. He was preceded in death by his parents, Duffy and Ezora O'Blanc Moore, his sister, Shirley Thibodeaux and brother, Bobby Moore. He is survived by his loving spouse of 45 years, Villie Fruge' Moore; four children, Michael S. Moore, Benjamin J. Moore, Aaron J. Moore, Leslie Moore Lynn and their respective spouses; sisters, Valvalee Sonnier, Juanita Vincent and Elizabeth Taylor; brothers, Norris Moore, W. Jay Moore; seven grandchildren; his constant canine companion, Oliver; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Monday, June 8, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
