Harry Elton Woodall, Sr., a native of Phenix City, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the age of 83. He was a retired teacher for the Mobile County Public Schools; enjoyed collecting trains and was an avid Alabama Football fan. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Annie Joyce Crist Woodall and his second wife, Betty Jean Crist Woodall. His survivors include his children, Harry Elton (Cindy) Woodall, Jr., Joseph Crist (Carolyn) Woodall, Sheryl A. Woodall, Mary Woodall Thompson and Michael (Terri) Taylor; two brothers, Benjamin "Benny" (Jean) Woodall and James Leon "Buster" (Gwenda) Woodall; Bettie Dakota; Bruce Athey; Shirley E. Smith; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 22, 2018 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
