It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hayley Brook Terry, who left this world in a tragic accident on April 6, 2025, at the tender age of 20. Born on August 19, 2004, in Mobile, Alabama, Hayley was a vibrant presence whose spirit touched the lives of many.
Hayley worked as a dedicated manager at McDonald's, where she demonstrated her strong work ethic and leadership qualities. She approached every challenge with enthusiasm and grace, leaving a lasting impression on her colleagues and friends. She enjoyed collecting old coins, Funko Pops, Pokemon cards, McDonald's Happy Meal toys, antique photographs and paintings. She loved Anime, Manga, reading books and shopping for scarves and shoes.
Hayley is survived by her loving father, Timmy Terry, and her devoted mother, Tammy Wheeler Terry. Their unyielding support and love for her throughout her life were paramount, and they now carry her memory in their hearts. Others who are left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Jessica Wheeler, Shiann (Brandon) Harden, Blake Terry and Maryanne (Doug) Mader; grandmothers, Marta Atkinson and Marianne Terry; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and coworkers.
Haley was preceded in death by her grandfathers, David Wheeler and Harry Terry; her uncles, Michael Wheeler and Marshall Harper.
To honor Hayley's life and legacy, family and friends will gather for a viewing at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM. A funeral service celebrating her life will take place at 2:00 PM with Bro. Doug Price officiating. Burial will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In honor of Hayley, visitors are encouraged to wear pink, her favorite color.
In this time of reflection, we invite all who knew and loved Hayley to join us in remembering the joy she brought into our lives. Her laughter, kindness, and spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
