Helen Eddins

Helen Ethel Risen Eddins, a native of Buckatunna, MS, longtime resident of Mobile, AL and current resident of Semmes, AL, died Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the age of 88.
Helen was a retired sales associate of Sears; a member of Crawford Baptist Church; loved to read and spend quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Metz Eddins; and her parents, Kearnie Vidmon Risen and Ethel Moody Risen.
Her survivors include her children, Beverly (Danny) Gilmore, Michael W. Crosby, Anita Crosby, Donald (Pam) Crosby, Ronald Crosby, and Doris Bratcher (adopted daughter); seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Gilmore, Gregg (Carrie) Gilmore, Justin (Pam) Crosby, Katie Crosby, Nicole (Glenn) Howell, Zackary Crosby and Eric (Julie) Barnes; 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
