Helen Marella Johns, a native of Pennsylvania and current resident of Mobile, AL, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the age of 93. Helen was an accomplished seamstress and was a retired Supervisor of Gateway Manufacturing in Masontown, PA. She had a "green thumb", loved growing flowers and gave generously of her time to anyone in need. She will be sadly missed to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Bernice Marella; her brother, Richard Marella and two sisters, Sylvia Lauterbach and Anita Torok. Her survivors include her daughter, Rebekah Hobson,and husband, Francis Hobson; two sisters, Judy Amorosi and Christine Marella; her grandson, Brian Huweart; two brothers-in-law, David Torok and Howard Lauterbach; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. A private family memorial to celebrate Helen's life will be held at a later date.
