Henry Scott Wells, a resident of Chunchula, AL, died suddenly Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the age of 59. He retired from the Mobile Paper Board after over 20 years of service. Scott loved the Lord and attended Midway Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing pool, but his fondest joy was spending quality time with his "best buddy" grandson, Lawrence, and his "jug head" son, Brian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Hester Wells and Verna Estelle Chapman Wells. His survivors include his only son, Brian Ellis (Jenifer) Wells; his grandson, Lawrence Brian Wells; two sisters, Paula Kay Wells (James "Junior") Duke and Verna Wells (Bob) Weatherly; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
