Herman Stanley, Jr. passed from death to life in the late night of April 4, 2016. He was born into this world on June 27, 1947. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Stanley, Sr.; his mother, Eva Mae Goleman Stanley; and his son, Bart Stanley. Herman is survived by his wife, Glenda McCollough Stanley; his four children, Brad Stanley, Missy Madison (Glenn), Molly McConnell (Brian) and Blake Stanley (Janna); four siblings, Horace Stanley, Sissie Roberts, Pam Chestnut, Sandy Roberts and Emilie Beasley; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Herman worked and retired after 40 years of employment at Ingalls Shipbuilding as a pipe supervisor. He was respected and loved by so many and never met a stranger. He was an outstanding neighbor, friend, colleague, father and Papa. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Theodore Church of God on Theodore Dawes Road in Theodore, AL. Funeral services will be held from the church Friday, April 8, 2016 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
