Herbert Curtis Bullington of Mobile, AL passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 in a local hospital hospice unit. He was born in Geneva, AL on October 1, 1929 to Thomas Edmun and Chapie Elizabeth Bullington. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years and mother of his 4 children, Ruth Keel Bullington; youngest son, Charles "Chuck" Edmun Bullington. He was on of 13 siblings and is survived by only one sister, Jacqueline Irene Bullington Coarsey. He is also survived by his daughter, Donna Ruth Bullington (Randy) Hall; sons, Curtis Alan (Lisa) Bullington, Hubert Dewain (Debbie) Bullington; 7 grandchildren, Jamie Marie Bullington, Blake Alan Bullington (Dr. Jessica Gill), Charles Bradley Bullington, Brittney Ruth Hall (Brandon) Hales, Huntlee Randall Hall, Amber McCloud (Joey) Nelson, Micky and Nicole Walker; 4 great grandchildren, Katie Marie Carmack, Brinkley Ruth Hales, Brylen Mycie Hales, Bowen Michael Hales, Avery Blake Bullington; nieces, nephews and other family members.
Mr. Bullington was a member of Howard Lodge #69 and swore in as a worshipful master in 1975. Later he became a 32nd degree mason. He served his lodge family for many years. He was owner and president H.C. Bullington Contractor, which he built into a very successful business for over 50 years. He enjoyed deer hunting and was an avid bream fisherman. Graveside services and interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Jim Jordan officiating.
