Ilse Paula Schapals Feb 20, 1927- Dec 18, 2016 A native of Wismar, Germany and resident of Mobile, AL died on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the age of 89. Mrs. Schapals loved to bake and cook. She also loved to entertain. She is survived by her husband, Siegfried Egon Schapals; three sons, Horst (Kathy) Schapals, Klaus Schapals and Peter Schapals; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM followed by Funeral Services in the Chapel.
