Ina Palmer

Mrs. Ina Leigh Palmer, born May 3, 1923 and passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018, at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramie Walter Palmer, her grandson, Stacy Sholes and her two sisters, Bulah Beech and Nell Morris. Mrs. Palmer is survived by her daughters, Sandra Smith (Nelson), Sylvia Farill (Paul); her son, Phillip Palmer; brother, James Beech; two sisters, Juanita Jones, Louise Ketchum; five grandchildren, Kimberly Sholes, Kit Brewer (Allison), Michael Palmer (Cristy), Jennifer Sneath (Chris), Erin Lee (Justin) and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Palmer was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Dawes. She loved her church and served in many capacities over the last 60 years. She also had several close neighbors, Mrs. Rose Scivicque and Mr. & Mrs. Harold Ames and their families. She touched many lives and will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 12 noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
