Iralee C. Jenkins
Iralee Jenkins, a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 3, 2017. Ms. Jenkins was born in Dozier, Alabama in 1927. She moved to Mobile, Alabama and was a 1946 graduate of Murphy High School.
Ms. Jenkins was a secretary at Brookley Air Force Base in Mobile, Alabama until its closure. She then became the financial secretary at Fulton Road Baptist Church where she retired after 21 years of service.
Ms. Jenkins was preceded in death by her parents, Herman E. Clark and Annie C. Clark. Her survivors include her husband, Clyde D. Jenkins, Jr.; her son, Tim M. Jenkins, Sr. (Teresa); her daughter, Gloria J. Reed, (Bryan); four grandchildren, Timothy Jenkins, Jr. (Missy); Matthew Jenkins; B. Collin Reed, Jr. and Abigail L. Reed; her sisters, Jacqueline Mulvey and Ouida Vick (Reynolds); her brother, Joe Clark (Janet); five great grandchildren, Seth, Annabelle, Noah, Eli and Parker Jenkins; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive family and friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Friday, January 6, 2017 from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. The funeral will be officiated by Reverend Art Burroughs at Mobile Memorial Gardens Chapel with graveside services following the 2 p.m. service.
