Mrs. Iris Jeanette Gray Dunnam - Born March 30, 1935 in Coden, Alabama to Oscar Gray and Edna Gray, a resident of Mobile and Dauphin Island, Alabama, died at the Allen Memorial Home Wednesday December 5, 2018 at 5:30 a. m. Mrs. Dunnam is survived by her children, Donald (Donna) Dunnam, Jr., Terry (Kay) Dunnam, Virginia Allen, and Kimberly Webb; her grandchildren, Lee Ann Williams, Kim Baker, Julian Dunnam, William Allen III, Lauren Dunnam, Anthony Wood, and Quentin Webb; her great grandchildren, Devin Dunnam, Lexi Bagley, Olivia Baker, Coleman Williams, Taylor Williams, and Audrey Dunnam; sisters Irene Moore and Effie Bosarge, and brother Lawrence Gray. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Donald W. Dunnam, Sr., son Timothy Dunnam, grandson Matthew Dunnam, brothers Arthur Gray and Laverne Gray. Mrs. Dunnam was a homemaker, beloved mother, talented chef, avid fisherwoman, and sailboat racer. She loved attending Crimson Tide football games and camping with family and friends. She was past president of the Buccaneer Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary (Buccanettes) and a 1953 graduate of Alba High School. Mrs. Dunnam was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Funeral services will be Saturday at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at 12 Noon with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
