Iva Jean Crane Betancourt, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Monday, August 22, 2016 at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arosta Wiley Crane and Clyde Hazel Duke Crane; and her husband, Manual Thomas Betancourt, Jr. Her survivors include her son, Steve Betancourt; four grandchildren, Alex, Graham, Tyler and Sam; one great-grandchild, Declan; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 12 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 11:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
