James 'Bruce' Winter passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on March 28, 2025.
Born in Nashville, TN, in 1944 to Voncille Kidd Winter and Milner Beeman Winter, Bruce moved to Mobile, AL, with his family as a young boy. He also served with the Alabama National Guard. Bruce retired in 2010 from Teledyne Continental Motors after a career that spanned over 35 years. He was a fitness enthusiast who loved to work out at the gym and could often be seen jogging the sidewalks of Mobile. Bruce loved music and was always ready to dance; in later years, that love of music was demonstrated in church worship.
