James Davidson

James Jerome Davidson, better known as "J J," went home to be with his Lord and Savior on
August 9, 2017, at the age of 58. He was born the second of five children to Robert and May
Davidson, on September 16, 1958 in Mobile, Alabama. J J graduated from Vigor High School,
Class of 1976.
After graduation he hired on at South Central Bell, now AT&T, and remained there until he
retired in 2007. J J was kind, funny, witty and the life of any party. He was a selfless man and
never met a stranger. He loved all sports, especially his Alabama Crimson Tide. J J also loved to
fish, collect coins, cook his southern favorites, and play with his beloved dog, Chance.
He is survived by his two children, Joshua and Christa Davidson; parents Robert Davidson, Sr.
and May J. Davidson; former wife and friend, Angela Davidson; four brothers, Robert Davidson,
Jr., Richard Davidson, Christopher Davidson, and Carl "Dunie" Davidson; and a number of
other loving relatives and friends. J J was greatly loved and will be missed by all.
