James "Jay" Patrick Foley, a resident of Pensacola, FL, died suddenly Monday, May 29, 2017 at the age of 34. James loved the water, swimming, kayaking, good food, his family and friends, the mountains, nature and traveling. He visited over 40 states and at least 7 countries. He was a warm, giving person and family was a very important part of his life. He was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Foley Shelton. His survivors include his father, James Leondas Foley; his mother, Evelyn Walrond (Cor) Snoeren; nephew, Shawn Millmeyer; niece, Kaylee Millmeyer; cousins, Jeremy and Timothy Walker; Kelley, Wade, Scott and Christopher Walrond; uncle and aunts, Richard and Elizabeth Walrond and Margie Young; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
