JAMES ROBERT GAINES
1942-2018

Mr. Gaines, age 75, of Mobile, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Lynwood Nursing Home. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ruth Gaines and parents, Calvin and Lucille Gaines.
Mr. Gaines is survived by his sons, James R. Gaines Jr. and Danny R. (Kristie) Gaines; grandsons, Daniel R. Gaines and Brandon R. Gaines; brothers, Billy (Penny) Gaines and Butch Calvin (Patsy) Gaines; sisters, Bobbie Mason and Sandy Miller Wall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
James was an avid golfer and spent countless hours developing his skills and enjoying his greatest passion.
Funeral services for James Robert Gaines will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. H.W. Parker officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service with burial following the service at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
