Burt McCann, a native of Brandon, MS and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died on Sunday. He was a graduate of Murphy High School. Mr. McCann was preceded in death by his parents, O.B. McCann and Helen Mott McCann and one sister, Peggy McCann Mobley. He is survived by his wife, Judy Daniel McCann one daughter, Rhonda McCann Shipman one son, Jeff Wanda McCann one brother, Bill McCann five grandchildren, Robert E. Robby Shipman, III, Rebecca N. Shipman, Ryan M. Shipman, Jonathan D. McCann, and Andrew S. McCann many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 PM.
