James C. McClure, Sr., a native of Butler County, AL and a resident of Mobile, AL, died on Wednesday. He was a Veteran of WWII, having served with the 6th Marine Division. Mr. McClure was a member of Local 798, the Ironworkers Local and was also an avid coon hunter. He started the Lawnmower Boneyard business. He is survived by his son, James C. McClure, Jr.; two granddaughters, Jamie McClure Marston and Amanda McClure Mosher; two great grandchildren, Sophia Marston and Wesley Marston; one brother, Jon McClure, Valdosta, GA; two sisters, Jean Schram of St. Petersburg, FL and Charlotte Slaney of Shreveport, LA and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 12 noon. Visitation will start at 11 AM. Pallbearers will be Jeff Marston, Jon McClure, Paul Loften, Mark Kenny, Malvin Gilmore and Bill Robinson. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
