James Ronald "Ronnie" Moran, a longtime resident of Grand Bay, AL, died Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the age of 81. He retired from International Paper after over 40 years of service. He is a former member of two mystic societies; former Girl Scout troop leader; was the "neighborhood Santa"; and an avid Alabama football fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Virgil Moran and Willie Mae Driskell Moran; and a grandson, Christopher Lee Taylor. His survivors include his wife of 60 years, Minnie Lou Uptagrafft Moran; two daughters, Lee Ann Moran (Greg) Taylor, and Susan Moran; five grandchildren, Heather Taylor Hyatt, Michael Taylor, Bubba Baker, Zachary Baker and Dakota Baker; ten great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
