James Ott, Jr.

Mr. James Dewey Ott, Jr., age 89, a native of Birmingham, Alabama and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Thursday, May 7, 2015. He was a member of Knollwood Assembly of God Church, Owner & Operator of Equipment Services Company and graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jane Atkinson Ott and son in law, Jerry S. Spooner. He is survived by his daughters, Bonnie (Neal) Greene, Kay Ott Spooner; sister, Carolyn Lance; eight grandchildren, Jamey Greene, Kelly Turner, Jahaza Duncan, Jeremiah Spooner, Jarah Bartlett, Hunter Greene, Holly Greene, Malorie Greene; sixteen grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 10:00 AM from Knollwood Assembly of God Church. Private interment will be held in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
