James Tilford

James Dean Tilford III, age 74 went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in Mobile, Alabama. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends. Dean was born on January 4, 1948 in Sarasota, Florida. He was a Corporate Pilot and Pilot since the age of 11 years and a member of The Krewe Marry Mates and CainRaisers Mardi Gras Societies.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Dean Tilford Jr. and Emily Meyer, his sister Ditter Sayers (deceased) and husband Jim, his brother Richard (deceased) and wife Patty. Nephews Chad Tilford & family, David and Dean Sayers and families.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 38 years, Jeannie Tilford of Alabama, niece Kirsten Jones Barber & Constance of Alabama, his brother in law Troy Jones & Cindy of Alabama, bonus brother Gordon Kay & Marion of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dean was a wonderful husband and friend, best known for his kind nature to all!
A memorial service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens,
6100 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL 36619. Monday, March 7, 2022.
Visitation is 11:00am. Service directly following at 12pm
