Jan Myers Neece, passed away at her home in Irvington, AL on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the age of 68. She was preceded in death by her parents, Talmadge Jefferson Myers and Margaret Stewart Myers, and her sisters, Carrie Nell Myers and Lucille Overby. Her survivors include her loving soulmate, Barry "Pete" O'Dell, of Irvington, AL; her son, Weyland Joseph (Shaina) Neece, and daughter, Katrina Jan (LeAnne) Neece, both of Mobile, AL; her sisters, Winnie Jo (Tommy) Britt, Edwina Leon, Nan (Richard) Chasteen and Jessie (Doug) Parker, all of Mobile, AL; her half-sister, Betty (Thomas) Busby; five grandchildren, Joe David Lovelace, Patricia Lovelace, Aubree Neece, Jaxon Neece and Weyland Neece; devoted and special friend, Kathy Glass; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Jan was a very loving mother and proud grandmother who enjoyed her family very much. She took great pride in her Elvis collection and, over the years, built a collection of dolls and angels that filled several rooms in her home. She loved country music but, if you would have asked what her biggest joy was in life, she would say hands down her two children in whose hearts she will forever be. She touched many lives and truly made a friend of everyone she met. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
