Janet Mahone

Janet Lee (Smith) Mahone, age 62, made her final journey to be with God on November 29, 2020. She was born on April 7, 1958 in Mobile, AL, to the late Ronald and Betty Smith.Janet was a devoted mother and grandmother who lived her life to give unconditional love to her family. While her body may have weakened, the power of her love never waned.She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Bates (Todd); son Shane Presley (Samantha); sisters Susan Blackwell (Paul) and Cindy Powell; brother Ronald Smith, Jr. (Dee) and grandchildren Tyler Horton, Ellie Presley, Ashlyn Presley, Avery Presley, and Mason Presley. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends to cherish her memory.Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
