Jason Alan Dobbs, AKA a "Christian Soldier", reported for duty to his Heavenly Father Thursday, July 2, 2015. He was reunited with his grandparents, John and Evelyn Gilliland, Jesse and Ezzie Dobbs, and his uncle, Ralph Dobbs, all of whom preceded him in death. He served in the US Army (Human Intel) and was a veteran of the war in Iraq. He spoke often of a time when he would serve his true Commander and Chief, Jesus Christ, in the final war. Jason is temporarily separated from his wife, Jennifer Bennett Dobbs; his son, Jayden Christopher Dobbs; his parents, Robert and Debbie Dobbs; his brother, Eric Dobbs; his aunt, Judy Cook and family; the Bennett family; other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. We are crushed, but not broken. Psalm 91:4 - "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust; His trust shall be thou shield and buckler." The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Monday, July 6, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Funeral services will be held Monday at 12:00 Noon from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held at Cleveland First Baptist, Cleveland, AL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made in Jason's name to Cleveland First Baptist, 36632 State Highway 79, Cleveland, AL 35049.
