Jeanette Wilson Anglin, 81, a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, passed away Wednesday the 19th of July at her home surrounded by family and loved ones. Jeanette was born November 21,1935 in Mobile to Woodrow Wilson and Marie (Wilson) White. The first of twelve children, she graduated from St Margaret's Catholic School. She shared 57 years wonderful years of marriage to Lumon Anglin. They raised three children: Phillip Anglin, Cindy Eubanks and Donnie Anglin. She was a secretary at Hooper Homes Portamedic Services for 10 years and had recently retired as a domestic engineer. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and great "Maw Maw" to her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She stood strongly in her Catholic faith and her love of God. She was one of the founding families of St. Vincent de Paul Church and she graciously volunteered her time as a Eucharistic minister, member of the Ladies Altar Sodality and other church functions. As an active member of the community, she generously volunteered her time including cooking many delicious meals for the Tillman's Corner community. She enjoyed hosting and visiting yard sales, taking daily walks and participating in weekly TOPS Clubs meetings (achieving KOPS status). Jeanette is survived by her mother Marie White and stepfather Ernie White; children: Phillip (Valerie) Anglin, Cindy (Gene) Eubanks, Donnie (Terri) Anglin. Her grandchildren include: Jennifer Charlton, Ashley Anglin, Bradley (Alyssa) Anglin, Nicholas (Valyn) Anglin, Brianne (Chris) Bogart, Whitney Anglin, Jacob Anglin, and Justin Eubanks. Great grandchildren include: Kira Charlton, Christopher Bogart, Farrah Anglin, Dominic Anglin and Greyden Anglin. Siblings include Theresa (Sidney) Orrell, Doris (Jerry) Davis, Christine (Drew) Whiteley, Alvin (Gail) Wilson, Larry (Charlotte) Wilson, Julie (Ronnie) Shewmake, Danny (Angie) Wilson, Cheryl Prine, Eddie Wilson. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a special Aunt Jane. She was preceded in death by, Woodrow Wilson (father), Woodrow W. Wilson (brother) Edmond Wilson (brother) and Starla Huber (niece). Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Sunday July 23, 2017 from 6pm-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6625 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, Monday July 24, 2017 at 10:00 AM Following Mass, interment will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
