Jenny Smith

Jenny Lind Johnsey Smith, born November 7, 1950, in Walker County, AL, passed away September 3, 2020 surrounded by her family. Gigi was one of a kind. Whether you knew her as Jen, Jenny, mama, or Gigi, she was special to so many. She was the heart of the family, she forgave so easily. She was an amazing listener, peace keeper, and definitely a trouble maker. She loved her family and all the family time. She had a special bond with each of her loved ones and her memory will live on through them and will always be in their hearts. Knowing she loved the Lord, gives us great hope that we will see her again.Jenny is reunited with the love of her life that she so dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by “Cowboy” James Edward Smith; parents, M.L. Johnsey and Lois H. Johnsey; brother-in-law, David Adkins.

She is survived by her daughter Lori (Tim) Rogers who will miss her very much; grandson, Colton Allen Rogers Gigi’s buddy; granddaughter and partner in crime, Delaney Lynn Rogers; favorite son, James “Wesley” Smith (Paula); brothers, Gary (Jeanne), Mike Johnsey (Mary); sisters, Cindy Adkins, Moona Ladnier (Tim), nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

Whether you love her and come for us or love us and come for her, this room is filled with love, a lifetime of love and for that beautiful mama, Gigi, daughter, sister, friend, aunt. She will be deeply missed

Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Monday September 14th, 2020. Family will receive friends at 12:00 and will be followed by a chapel service at 2:00.Condolences may be offered at www.mobilefuneralservice.com Masks are required upon entering the funeral home.
