Jerry Leon Sims (Jack, Jackie), age 80, of Grand Bay, Alabama, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at his residence in Grand Bay, Alabama.
A faithful member of First Baptist Church of Grand Bay, Alabama for many years until his health declined. Mr. Sims loved the Lord, his family, his church family, and all former employees. He was owner of Sims Supermarket for over 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Leon Sims and Edna Mae "Tootsie" Sims.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Annette Womack Sims; son, Todd Sims; grandchildren, Maegan Marie Sims (Will), Brianna Michelle Sims; great-grandchildren, Everly Grace Spurlin, Walker Leon Spurlin; sister, Donna Ruth Sims of St. Petersburg, Florida; and many friends and other relatives.
Graveside services will be Monday, January 4, 2021 at 10:00am from Grand Bay Cemetery. You may offer your condolences at www.mobilefuneralservice.com
