Jewell E. "Billie" Gunter 1921-2017 A native of Mississippi and long-time resident of Mobile, AL died on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the age of 96. Mrs. Gunter owned and operated grocery stores in Mobile for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Gunter and Idele Walters Gunter; husband, Vernon Ray Tucker; sisters, Patricia L. Raynor and Jacquelyn E. Watts; brothers, Cleveland Gunter, Arnold Gunter, John B. Gunter and Hascle Gunter. She is survived by a sister, Iris H. George; other relatives and friends. Private services were held with Inurnment in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Billie, you are loved and will be greatly missed.
