Jimmie Lee Harris, a native of Hoxie, AR and current resident of Spanish Fort, AL, went home to Glory on his birthday, August 12, 2015. Jimmie was an active member of Spanish Fort Church of Christ and was retired from Chevron USA. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Connie; two daughters, Diane (Mike) Cowen, of Mobile, AL and Debra Hannah of Daphne, AL; 5 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rick Whittle, Minister of Spanish Fort Church of Christ, will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 12:00 Noon. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Mr. Harris' name to Spanish Fort Church of Christ, 8100 Spanish Fort Blvd., Spanish Fort, AL 36526, or your favorite charity.
