Jimmy Gilmore

Jimmy Dale Gilmore, Sr. 66 of Mobile, Alabama passed away August 8, 2021. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
He was married to the love of his life of 47 years, Sherri Gilmore.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Eugenia Annie Lightsey and John Ester Gilmore, 2 brothers, Tommy, and Larry Gilmore.
Jimmy Sr. is survived by his two sons, Jimmy (JJ) Dale Gilmore, Jr. (Brandi) and Joshua Gilmore (Amanda); brother, Billy Frank Gilmore and sister, Janell Gilmore-Cisneros; 4 grandkids, Kinley, Kaley, Jacob, and Jonas Gilmore.
If you knew Jimmy, you know he absolutely adored and cherished his grandkids. Jimmy loved Jesus, had an infectious smile, a loving personality and will leave behind a lifetime of memories with his family. Jimmy was a Boilermaker with Local 112 and a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church.
Visitation and celebration of life will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. and the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Shriners Hospital in his memory.
