Joan Mae Fuqua Myers, a native and resident of Mobile, AL, departed this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, May 20, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ella Mae Dunn and Joseph H. Fuqua; her husband, Donald E. Myers, Sr.; former husband, Marland D. Washburn, Sr.; and her sister, Barbara Fuwell. She is survived by her sons, Marland D. Washburn, II and Donald E. Myers, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Washburn Anderson; grandson, Joseph (Naomi) Anderson; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
